The video has since racked up 6.1+ million views on YouTube after 1 day. The video, all things considered, was visually amazing. Her first official single from RCA was “Hey Chica”, the record was featured on the Smurfs 2 soundtrack. For some time, Kiana was only visible an actor than a singer. Most notably for her role on MTV’s Scream series as Zoe Vaughn. She soon signed to Orange Factory Music and began doing covers on YouTube with her #SoulFoodTeusday (#SoulFoodSessions). In 2015, Soulfood Sessions EP was released featuring four of her most popular covers. In 2017, Kiana has consistently released singles such as “I Choose You” and “FairPlay” through the UMG-distributed Republic.

The diss track is a response to Drake’s "Duppy Freestyle," which was a response to Pusha’s "Infrared" off his latest album Daytona. This is just the most recent chapter of this beef, that stems back to Pusha and his brother No Malice’s rap group duo, Clipse, beef with Lil Wayne. A beef that started with Lil Wayne being praised for trendsetting, by wearing the streetwear brand BAPE on the 2006 Vibe Magazine cover. A brand that however truly grew into popularity thanks to the fashion-forward Pharrell. Clipse also rocked the BAPE brand a lot as well.
