Into the Unknown: Frozen II brings answers to many lingering questions

Recently I've dealt with loss and the birth of new beginnings, which sparked the movie outing with hopes of a distraction from the real world. But Disney's “Frozen II” had another idea in mind to give more than a fun distraction but a life lesson.

Ever had a feeling of uncertainty, a voice calling out that yearns for something new? Change is inevitable, but that doesn't mean it's not scary. Fear is dangerous, and it can cause decisions that reap consequences for generations to come.

Disney's "Frozen II" explores the past with hopes of bringing a brighter future. While I had my worries that this sequel was another cash grab for Disney after the success of "Frozen," it is a genuine delivery. A message of having faith, although your path may be different, you will never lose the love that connects you rings throughout the film. “My love is not fragile ...” a quote in the movie, I won't provide context for as to not give spoilers. But the quote is an example of the heart this film has, and despite being a children's movie, it has many relatable life lessons for adults.

“Frozen II” holds the answers many viewers had after the first film. These answers include Elsa and Anna's parents' past, Arendelle’s history and how it affects its future, and what lies ahead for the two sisters — and of course, the source of Elsa's powers.

The music that propelled the success of “Frozen” continues with a beautiful composition of music that accompanies this new adventure flawlessly. I highly recommend listening to the full soundtrack before seeing the movie as it helps provide context and fully immersive experience.

Though loss and fear of change may bring sadness, it brings a shift for a new beginning. This new adventure for Elsa and Anna is worth the journey of laughs, tears, and action that keeps you on the edge of your seat. And yes, there is a post-credit scene, so don't hop out your seats when the credits roll.

“Frozen II” is now available in theaters everywhere.
