Social media buzzed with the news the music streaming service SoundCloud only had enough money to operate for the next 50 days. Of course social media was full of jokes, as most find SoundCloud artists who spam people to be annoying. But SoundCloud has led to many of our favorite artists becoming well known mainstream artists. Chance the Rapper is an artist like this, the very popular Indy rapper that has yet to sign to a record label. Chance made inquiries via twitter hinting at the importance of SoundCloud:

Following these tweet we soon receive a tweet reassuring the public SoundCloud would be sticking around for a long time (for sure longer than the previously mentioned 50 days). 

Artist like Chance the Rapper who understand the important responsibility that comes with platforms such as his are modern-day superheroes. Chance has added "saving SoundCloud" to his growing list of philanthropy, a list of actions one can truly appreciate. Chance also dropped a new record with fellow rapper Young Thug on his SoundCloud in honor of saving the music streaming service.
